One of the reasons why I love living in Oostduinkerke is that it's such an authentic small village by the Belgian Coast and it's PERFECTLY located between two bigger villages, Koksijde and Nieuwpoort. You can always soak up some vitamin D, savour the rest of the sea but also enjoy and chill with your friends or family. Much like any other resorts, Oostduinkerke has its pearls.

It feels more like a second home. Little things like befriending the salesgirl of your favourite shop and having the same order at the coffeeshop can help you feel as though you’re part of the local community.

And admit it? What’s better in Belgium than The Belgian Sea, Fresh Air and the Sunshine of Spring?

Today I’m showing you my top 5 favourite hotspots in my hometown #ODK.

SHOP - DRINK - RELAX

#1 MIRA

It's spring and that means better weather and new clothes!!!!!

Et voilà, Mira sells only hip, trendy and affordable clothes: my three favorite words.

It feels like I always need to see their new collection to keep up with the latest fashion trends.

So it's certainly worth a visit (!)

#2 DE KARAVAAN

Next is another store where I could easily spend a few hours... If you can have a storecrush? It would definitely be De Karavaan. They've got everything: the cutest bags, the comfiest sweaters, the longest dresses, the prettiest earrings,...

#3 KISS MY COFFEE

The next stop after having a lovely day of shopping is to visit Kiss My Coffee. A coffeeshop where the barista serves you the best coffee, and we take our coffee very seriously. You can also drink cocktails outside in summer. They serve sweets like pies and bagels. I guess it's definitely a must-visit for locals and tourists (!)

#4 WIN'EST

We end the day with a glass of wine by the bar, a nice vibe and the best conversations with your friends. Rather looking for something new and unique? So, the place is called Win'est. Cocktails, wine, coca cola,... they serve everything with a smile. Excellent customer service (!) This spot is certainly a must. I mean... look at those pictures (?) A place where you can find cosiness at first sight. We love it.

#5 LA BEAUTÉ D'ANA

And of course, after a nice but long day... we want to relaxxx
